Since 1991 conductor of the Corale polifonica Jonia of Giarre, the oldest choir in Sicily and with it winner of several national and international competitions, always ranking in the first places. Among these Vallecorsa (FR), Riva di Garda (TN), A.Gi.Mus International Choral Music Tournament. Rome, Battipaglia (SA), “P. Settimio Zimarino ”Vasto (CH)“ Slovakian Grand Prix 99 ”by Trencianske Teplice (Slovakia)“ Mons. S. Santoro ”of Reggio Calabria,“ Magma ”of Catania,“ Llangollen International Music Festival (Wales - UK).
He has conducted more than 500 concerts in Italy and in various European countries (France, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Portugal).
He attended courses in Choral and Baroque Vocality with Marika Rizzo and Claudio Cavina; singing technique and interpretation with Maria Luisa Sancez Carbone; choir conducting and concertation with Bruno Zagni, Jürgern Jürgens, Andrea O. Veneracion, Piergiorgio Righele, Werner Pfaff, Fernando Eldoro, Stojan Kuret, Sebastian Korn and Gary Graden; of Gregorian Chant with Nino Albarosa, Luigi Agustoni and Johannes Berchmans Göschl. He received the Awards: "Man and the Sea" IIV Edition, "V Prize Sikelikè Polyphonia", International Award for social commitment "Memorial Rosario Livatino".
He has collaborated with Franco Battiato, Juri Camisasca, Alice and Pink Floyd Legend.
He judge and president of the jury at numerous singing competitions.
He is currently president of the Regional Association of Sicilian Choirs.
